Yesterday we took our last trip 20 minutes north to the coast where we downed the last cup of our favorite clam chowder. Then we strolled for the last time down the docks, amongst the seagulls and crab boats.
Then, after a few minutes of begging with clasped hands, we stopped for the very last time to get a bag of salt water taffy to eat on the way home.
Well, the last time in 2009 that is. We will be having many more cups of chowder and lots of sticky fingers from that taffy in 2010 I am sure.
